Delaware Charity Challenge November Update

 Only 2 months before our Winter Indoor Triathlon on January 7, 2017! 

More than 60 competitors have already signed up to compete in the indoor triathlon and the Race to Raise fundraising competition is underway!

For those looking to participate and wanted to join a team, we have several teams who are looking for more teammates, including the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware team. Please let us know if you wanted to participate on theirs or any other team. Registration is open for individual entries as well, as well as for captains still looking to put their team together. To sign up for the winter indoor triathlon, create a team or sign up as an individual at challengede.eventbrite.com, or if you're looking to join a team already in the competition, click on the green register button on their specific team page. 

The Race to Raise is underway and some of the prizes the teams are competing for are described below. You can view and support any of the nonprofit beneficiaries registered so far by clicking on the blue donate button on the team fundraising pages.

Delaware Today Grand Marketing Prize

As many of you are aware, one of our Media Sponsors, Delaware Today, is awarding a grand marketing prize to the team that raises the most money during the Delaware Charity Challenge Winter "Race-to-Raise" fundraising competition, which runs from October 1, 2016 to January 6, 2017. For more information about that prize, please visit our website.

UNIGLOBE Red Carpet Travel November Fundraising Prize

From November 1 to November 30, teams will be raising money with an eye on the UNIGLOBE Red Carpet Travel November Fundraising Prize. Of the teams that raise $500 or more over the month of November, the team that raises the most money will win two travel certificates good for travel on American Airlines to the 48 contiguous U.S. states, Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada, and Mexico. For more details about this great prize, please visit our website. FAQ: What is the schedule for January 7?

The Winter Indoor Triathlon will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. The competition starts at 9 a.m. with teams competing throughout the day starting generally on the hour. Leading up to the indoor triathlon, we will work with all team captains and individual competitors to try and accommodate your preferences for your team's start times. Before or after you compete (and even if you're there just cheering your friends on), be sure to visit with the different sponsors and exhibitors who will be at the Pursuit of Health & Wellness Expo and health fair, which will be taking place at the same time as the triathlon.

Costs for the Delaware Charity Challenge Winter Indoor Triathlon:
$40/teammate (Medley Triathlon Division)
$60/teammate (Run, Row, Bike Triathlon Division)
Discount for nonprofit teams
