The Delaware Charity Challenge is a unique fundraising and athletic competition designed to give organizations, families, and individuals a fun way to raise money and awareness for their favorite causes. Teams that enter may designate any charity they want as a beneficiary of funds they raise as a team. Part of the proceeds from the race registrations and the race sponsorships will go into a prize pool that will be distributed among the charities that raise the most money and to the charities of the teams that win the individual race events on the day of the Delaware Charity Challenge.

Registration Costs

Registration is affordable for all teams and nonprofits.

Team registration for the Delaware Charity Challenge is pretty straightforward. The registration process for the 5K will be processed online through RunSignUp and fundraising will be done through CrowdRise.

5K and Adventure Challenge Relay Registration Prices

Registration for the May 5, 2018 Delaware Charity Challenge 5K and Adventure Challenge Relay is open. There is no limit for team size on the 5K other than only 7 on a squad can score in any of the different scoring divisions.

For the 5K, the online registration registration will be linked here, and the cost is $35/runner. There is a 10% discount for official nonprofit teams. We also offer discounts for larger organizational teams (20 or more runners). These same prices apply to the Race Across Killens Pond 5K.

For the Adventure Challenge Relay, the online registration will be linked here, and the cost is $50/competitor. There will be a pairs division and a larger team division.

Winter Indoor Triathlon Registration Prices

Registration for the Winter Indoor Triathlon opens in the fall preceding the event. For that event, there is no limit to the number of squads a team can put in - in other words, teams can be as large as you want so that different squads can participate in one or more divisions of the Medley or Run, Row, Bike Triathlon. Triathlon teams require 3 members. Teams with less than 3 members on January 3, 2020 will be moved to into the individual triathlon category. Teams formed by nonprofits receive a 10% discount off the listed rates.
