In Summer 2019, there are two additional opportunities available where you can raise money for your favorite nonprofit through the Delaware Charity Challenge. For those in Kent and Sussex County, the Race Around Killens Pond 5K takes place on Sunday, June 23 at Killens Pond State Park in Felton. Fans of trail biking and running can race individually or with relay teams in the First State Duathlon, an 11 mile trail duathlon at Bellevue State Park on Saturday, July 20. Both of those events have separate Delaware Charity Challenge fundraising competitions.
The Winter Race to Raise will kick off in Fall 2019. This fundraising competition leads up to the Delaware Charity Challenge Winter Games, which include the 5th Annual Run, Row, Bike Indoor Triathlon on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Chase Center in Wilmington.
The 6th Annual Spring 5K & Adventure Challenge Relay returns to Lums Pond on Saturday, May 2, 2020. Teams and individuals will be able to set up their 2020 Spring Race to Raise fundraising pages ahead of that competition.
